David Beckham

Fourth big signing in the Florentino Pérez era. He usually acts as a right winger, though he can also play as an offensive playmaker. His speciality is the centre shots from the flank as well as the free kicks. His technique in these two type of actions is unique in world football. His quality and international renown makes him a new star in Real Madrid lineup.

From Manchester United to Real Madrid. These are the only two teams David has played in, plus, obvioulsy, the English national team. Although he was born in London, David have always been very clear about his football preferences: he wanted to be Red Devil. After being a trainee at Tottenham Hotspurs’ school of talents, David, born in 1975, signed for his dream club in 1991. He starts being part of the first-team lineups just one year later in some friendly games, though he was to make his Premier League debut in season 1994/95.
